Machine Operator Assistant

Pay: 24.30/Hour

Location: Renton, WA

Shift: 5AM-3:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Machine Operator Assistants. Responsibilities

Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.Read and follow order specification documents.Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set.Collaborate effectively with co-workers to achieve company goals and expectations.Adhere to all company rules and policies.Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and write English.Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.Comfortable working around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.Basic math knowledge.Ability to work overtime and maintain punctuality and attendance.

Work Environment

Our large facility houses advanced machinery, including a 112\" Multiflute Corrugator and several Flexo Folder Gluers. While the environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, we provide a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. The work schedule is a day shift with four 10-hour days, and occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays. Employees are encouraged to dress comfortably to accommodate the physical demands of the role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
