**Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant** **Job Description**
Join a dynamic team as a Machine Operator Assistant, where safety, quality, and efficiency are paramount. The position involves working on a swing shift from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or weekends.
**Responsibilities**
+ Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.
+ Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.
+ Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.
+ Read and follow order specification documents.
+ Consistently work to develop or enhance your skill set.
+ Work collaboratively with co-workers to achieve company goals and expectations.
+ Follow all company rules and policies.
+ Work successfully in multiple areas of the converting plant and meet performance expectations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must be able to read and write English.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline.
+ Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
+ Able to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
+ Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work overtime as needed.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must be at least 18 years old.
+ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Authorized to work in the U.S.
+ Passage of a drug screen and physical abilities test is required.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large facility that can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You'll be using advanced machines such as the 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, and various Die Cutters and Folder Gluers. The team environment is collaborative, and the facility supports a safety-first culture.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
