**Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant** **Job Description** This position involves monitoring production runs through molding machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean work area throughout Main Molding and Polycams. We are looking for someone who has one year of machine operating experience that is good to work the 3rd shift. This position will have you floating around the facility and it will pay $18 - $20 an hour. **Responsibilities** + Attend up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements. + Check all molded products hourly for defects and report any issues to the Team Leader/Processor or Quality and Shift Supervisor if needed. + Grind runners and check cappers for runners. + Clean track, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyor as necessary. + Hygrade product for defects and perform quality checks. + Complete labels, place them on boxes, and ensure rejected and accepted products are separated. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment. + Operate and monitor grinders and presses to ensure product specifications and deadlines are met. + Keep walkways and aisles clear and perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal. + Frequently lift/move up to and including 35 lbs. + Perform standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching motions as required. **Essential Skills** + Production experience + General labor skills + Mechanical aptitude + Machine operating experience + 1 year experience in a similar role preferred + Plastic injection experience preferred + Manufacturing experience preferred **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machine operation + Hand tool proficiency + Assembly skills **Why Work Here?** At our company, employees are our greatest asset.
