Job Title: 1st and 2nd shift Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various brake press, punch press, and laser equipment. The candidate must interpret blueprints, adjust machines to the correct specifications, and ensure the quality of the parts produced. This role also involves lifting heavy pieces of stainless steel onto the machine and using four different brake presses throughout the week.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate brake press, punch press, and laser equipment.Interpret and work from blueprints to adjust machines to correct specifications.Check the quality of parts produced and troubleshoot any issues.Lift heavy pieces of stainless steel onto machines.Utilize four brake presses throughout the week.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment setting up and operating lasers.2+ years of experience troubleshooting presses.2+ years of experience working from detailed blueprints using tools such as tape measures, squares, and protractors.Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Cincinnati presses is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean manufacturing plant. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
