Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 /hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)Operate CNC machines to produce precision components used in energy and perforating systems.Assist with machine setup, tool changes, and part inspections.Ensure all parts meet quality and safety standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Machine Operator Qualifications:
• Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisor and co-workers.• Ability to operate a band saw.• Ability to operate CNC lathes. • Ability to operate proprietary and traditional laser cutting equipment.• Able to operate a forklift.• Must possess the ability to operate hand tools and powered hand tools.• Knowledge of general computer programs including Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the Internet.• Operate office equipment including fax machine, telephone, copier and postage meter.• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to calculate with the use of fractions and/or decimal system.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
