Job Description
Join a dynamic production facility as a Machine Operator. We are seeking dedicated individuals to operate machinery on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Our facility produces and packages snack products, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
Responsibilities
Set up, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment to bag and box finished products, ensuring all food safety and quality protocols are followed.Maintain proper weights, quality requirements, and equipment checks/tests.Assist in the tear down and assembly of bagger scales/conveyors.Troubleshoot and correct basic equipment problems.Ensure all code dates are correct and complete film changes on bagging machines.Monitor equipment for maintenance-related items affecting efficient production.Communicate changes to the incoming shift and update VM boards.Train new employees and assist with changeovers and machine setups.Operate processing machines to ensure product specifications are met.Interact with Mixers to check consistency of dough and ensure quality product.Monitor equipment for safety and report any issues.Perform preventive maintenance, clean, and set-up equipment relating to the jug loader system.Essential Skills
Ability to work well with others and foster a team atmosphere.Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all GMP and HAACP requirements.Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and read written instructions.Experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and machine setup.Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Some manufacturing experience in a food plant is helpful.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.Experience in machine calibration and data entry according to established process control procedures.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.81 - $20.97/hr.
