We are seeking skilled Dryer Operators to join our team, responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring the drying process of chemical slurry. Operators will track and record production output using computer systems, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment, and operate an industrial dryer to dry wet product for packaging and documentation.
ResponsibilitiesOperate process equipment and industrial dryers to ensure efficient drying of chemical slurry.Track and record production output via computer systems.Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment.Ensure full understanding of each piece of equipment and control system in assigned work area.Start up, operate, and shut down equipment efficiently and safely.Diagnose equipment issues and understand equipment hazards.Understand the role of each piece of equipment in the process area, including its impact on surrounding process and storage areas.Comprehend operating procedures, process hazards, and chemical hazards in the work area.Essential SkillsAbility to operate chemical processing equipment.Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.Experience with computer systems for documentation and tracking.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of experience in process equipment operations.Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures.Understanding of production schedules.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive benefits including vacation and PTO, profit sharing bonuses, a generous 401k match, and tuition reimbursement.
