**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in the plating department. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts for plating, operating equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position offers the opportunity to work in a temperature-controlled, clean, and well-organized environment with minimal noise. **Responsibilities** + Prepare parts for plating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces. + Operate plating tanks and equipment according to established procedures. + Monitor plating baths for proper chemical levels, temperature, and time cycles. + Inspect plated parts for thickness, adhesion, and overall quality. + Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation. + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of plating equipment. + Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and PPE usage. + Report any equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors promptly. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + 1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or specialized training/certification with no experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand/power tools. + Ability to label and perform general labor tasks. + Blueprint reading skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a global team of over 7,000, including highly skilled engineers and experienced technicians.
