Machine Operator

Compensation and Shift
Starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Second and third shifts are available.

General Purpose
Machine Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Essential Functions
• Operate equipment in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner
• Maintain machine workflow to meet project deadlines
• Read job tickets and perform machine setups according to specifications
• Count, pack, and label sleeves, cartons, and skids
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines as required
• Ensure 6S practices are followed at all times

Requirements
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and performing machine maintenance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
• Intermediate computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during peak periods
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
