**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a 1st Shift Saw Operator position, responsible for operating horizontal bandsaws to cut materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. You will manage a variety of industrial saws, including both down cut and upcut aluminum saws, and work with numeric-controlled machines with automatic features. **Responsibilities** + Operate horizontal bandsaws for cutting various materials, including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. + Utilize aluminum cutting industrial saws, both down cut and upcut. + Work with numeric-controlled saws featuring automatic pusher, automatic feed, and auto indexing. + Handle all machinery, pull materials, and set up saws efficiently. + Maintain proficiency in reading blueprints and identifying materials. + Accurately clock hours through MES software and issue materials as needed. + Conduct quality control using available instrumentation, such as tape measures and 6-inch calipers. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Experience in setting up and operating a variety of band saws. + Ability to use a tape measure and calipers effectively. + Familiarity with machine operation and saw setup. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement. The company employs over 600 people and often works within tight deadlines. This is a 2nd Shift position, running from 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with the expectation of overtime and 50+ hour work weeks as needed. The role is initially contracted for 1-3 months, with an estimated end by the summer. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
