Provides continuous machine support by continuously monitoring secondary equipment for uptime efficiency and equipment safety.
-Understands Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) impact to effectively communicate to Shift Leader repetitive breakdowns.
-Resolves ongoing machine related problems (full bowls, closing machine restarts, grinder jams and color changes, purge removal from nozzle leaks).
-Performs beginner-level preventative maintenance tasks (reparing coveryor, material jam, cleaning filters).
-Performs material changeovers (ie, color changes, additives, etc.)
-Supply materials to the presses.
-Machine Operators are not authorized to perform start up after a set up.
-Restarts Injection Machines for mold protects, intermediate troubleshooting skills.
-Assess beyond mold protect for root cause.
-Fix minor cosmetic issues (burns, string flash).
Exception may occur with some molds: BOA & IMC Molds are to be started by Techs only.
(Machine Operator are not authorized to access, change/disabling core monitor safety)
Maintains proper documentation for all materials and machines.
-Line clearances.
-Color changes
-Production Requirements changes.
-Total the scrap at end of the shift.
Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
Schedule: days 6:00 am - 6:15 pm. 36 48 schedule (rotating days)
Base pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience + skills
