Shift: 6am-2:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will perform basic set-ups and operate machines across multiple assigned areas, ensuring safety and precision. You will operate complex equipment, fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. This role requires you to work from schedules, shop orders, and blueprints, identifying any deviations that might affect productivity.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor complex equipment and machines safely.Fit, align, and adjust machines or assemblies to meet specified tolerances.Work from schedules, shop orders, blueprints, and specifications.Identify and report deviations that may interrupt productivity.Load and unload cleaning equipment, perform inspections, and conduct LPC testing.Operate air and electric drivers, ultrasonic wash systems, and other machinery.Properly use required PPE, including coveralls, boots, hairnets/head covers, face shields, and gloves.Maintain logs and necessary documentation.Work under direct supervision in a cleanroom environment.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of manufacturing or related work experience.High School diploma or equivalent.Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.Proficiency in operating a variety of machines.Basic understanding of mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts.Visual acuity and manual dexterity.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with production, machine operation, material handling, and packing.Familiarity with saw operation, blueprint reading, and general labor tasks.Experience in deburring, saw cutting, drill press, and bandsaw operations.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a cleanroom setting with multitasking across various job functions. Employees are expected to wear appropriate protective equipment and work in a manufacturing machine shop that can be loud and fast-paced.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
