Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating molding, machining, casting, and other manufacturing machines. You will rotate between different machines and processes, ensuring that proper inserts are placed on the mold table for forming. Your role will include filling and packing boxes with sand in a warm environment, using hand tools to remove molds, and trimming flash from parts according to work orders.

SHIFT: 2ND $23/HR

Responsibilities

Operate molding, machining, casting, and other manufacturing machines.Rotate and operate various machines and processes.Place proper inserts on the mold table for forming.Fill and pack boxes with sand, working in a warm environment.Use hand tools to remove molds and trim flash from parts.Perform visual inspection of parts for any flaws or defects.Stack and palletize all products for quality control.Lift up to 100 lbs throughout the course of the day.Occasionally operate a forklift.Ensure quality control by maintaining careful machine operation.Work independently to process products for casting.

Essential Skills

12 months of machine operation experience or related.Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.Proficiency in machine operation, hand tools, and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with pneumatic tools, assembly, and general labor.Familiarity with blueprints and manufacturing processes.Experience in fabrication, concrete, carpentry, and material handling.

Work Environment

Work in an open production environment that is warm in the summer. You must wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses, with no shorts or cut-off sleeves allowed. Our facility prioritizes safety and provides all the necessary equipment to ensure a secure working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LE SUEUR, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.25/hr.
