Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

The individual in this role will assist with setups, set up, or learn to set up and run press brakes or laser equipment within the fabrication department. The machines primarily include Cincinnati, Amanda for the lasers, and other metal forming machines such as LVD Strippit turrets.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with or perform setups and run press brakes or laser equipment.Operate machines including Cincinnati, Amanda, and LVD Strippit turrets.Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers for inspection.Maintain strong knowledge of bends and allowances.Essential Skills2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in fabrication, press brake, punch, shear, turret, or machine operation.Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.Strong knowledge of bends and allowances.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Experience with assembly and laser operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in the safest sheet metal shop in the country, known for its exceptional safety standards. Our team-oriented environment offers growth opportunities and access to new high-end equipment. We host a weekly training program with a Dunwoody instructor to teach associates the programming and setup of all equipment. Participate in a four-year apprenticeship program to become a journeyman sheet metal worker. The position is on the 2nd shift, from 3:30 pm to 2 am, Monday through Thursday, with a competitive hourly rate plus a shift differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
