**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Machine Operator in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This first shift position operates from 6:00am to 2:30pm, where you will be responsible for palletizing custom fabricated sheet metal components into ready-to-ship kit forms. Every team member plays a crucial role in maintaining quality control to ensure we produce the best products in the industry. **Responsibilities** + Assemble new step kits with a basic understanding of the process. + Identify different size skids and operate banders. + Create liner tracks and identify defective parts such as bad clinches or dents. + Understand and apply company work instructions, production standards, and safety procedures. + Perform quality checks on parts and read prints/documents accurately. + Monitor and review standards, and suggest improvements to maintain high-quality levels. + Complete production and quality data sheets with precision. **Essential Skills** + 0-5 years of manufacturing or production experience. + Experience in operating or packing. + Basic understanding of extrusion, thermoforming, or plastics is a plus. + Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. + Proficient math skills. + Ability to use hand and power tools. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent (GED). + Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. + Experience with forklift operation is preferred. + Strong organizational and time management skills. + Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and work both independently and as part of a team. + Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with peers. + Motivated with a willingness to learn and advance skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer increased pay rates and a solid benefits package. The environment can be dirty and hot during the summers and cold in the winters, with a close-knit team of 40-50 employees spread across three shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schuylkill Haven, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
