Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team on the manufacturing floor, where we specialize in creating cables for industrial sales. You will be operating machines that handle large spools, ranging from 6-9 feet wide. The role involves setting up blank spools, starting the machine, replacing roles once completed, and loading new ones. The downtime between start and finish is minimal, around 1-2 minutes, requiring a steady but not high-speed pace of work.

Shift: 12 hour continental rotating schedule (2-2-3), rotates between days and nights weekly 

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to create large industrial cable spools.Set up and replace spools as required.Ensure the machine is running smoothly and efficiently.Handle downtime management between spool changes.Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 6 months experience in a heavy industrial production setting.Proven reliable attendance as verified by references.Ability to operate production and machine operation equipment.General math and English reading skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and understand basic math questions and measurements.Capacity to stand for long periods.
