Job Title: Machine Operator

1st: 8am-4pm

2nd: 4pm-12am

3rd: 12am-8am

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator who will be cross-trained in multiple areas based on company needs. This role involves operating drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery. The ideal candidate will also handle materials and ensure that machines are loaded and unloaded efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate various machines including drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, and torches.Load and unload machines efficiently.Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality.Clean quench tanks and maintain cleanliness in work areas.Perform housekeeping and special clean-up duties as needed.Utilize hand and power tools.Use overhead cranes to lift and move products safely.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Capability to stand for 8 hours or more.Proficiency in following directions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $20.01/hr.
