**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** As a Production Worker, you will assist with setting up and running extrusion machines. You will use wrenches and impact wrenches to set up or change out parts, and be responsible for loading raw materials into containers that feed the machines. When your pallet of raw materials runs out, you will utilize a sit-down forklift to retrieve more materials from inventory. You will also be tasked with cleaning the equipment when changing out parts. **Responsibilities** + Set up and run extrusion machines using wrenches and impact wrenches. + Load raw materials into machine feeding containers. + Operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials from inventory. + Clean equipment during part changeover. **Essential Skills** + Production and machine operation experience. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools like drills and wrenches. + Forklift operation skills (training will be provided). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in plastics extrusion or plastic injection mold. + Experience in compounding and material handling. + 6+ months of using hand and power tools. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, with free medical insurance coverage through company reimbursement. Shifts include 1st (6am-2pm, Mon-Fri), 2nd (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri), and 3rd (10pm-6am, Sun-Thurs). The facility is temperature-controlled, and the dress code includes steel toe shoes/boots, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Employees may occasionally be required to be clean-shaven if respirators are needed. Overtime is available but not mandatory, with occasional weekend work as required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
