Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of automated machines, including robotic welders, band saws, sandblasting machines, and marking machines. Your duties will include loading materials into these machines and collecting them after processing for shipping. You will also receive training on using an overhead crane and operating a paint booth.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage various automated machines such as robotic welders, band saws, and sandblasting machines.Load and unload materials into and from machines.Collect processed materials for shipping.Learn to operate an overhead crane and manage paint booth operations.

Essential Skills

Experience in machine operation and manufacturing.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency with hand and power tools, production, assembly, and painting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with overhead crane operation.Skills in machine programming and robotic welding.Experience in paint booth operations.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, well-organized, and busy manufacturing department that is somewhat noisy. The role involves working inside an assembly cell with 4-5 employees, providing a collaborative environment. The work schedule is from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for 1-2 hours of additional work per shift during the busy winter season, including occasional Saturdays. The position is a contract to hire.
