Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The candidate will be responsible for running and maintaining an automated screw machine. This includes unloading and loading the machine with raw materials, setting up the machine, and inspecting the finished product before sending it to the next workstation. Routine maintenance tasks such as oil and coolant changes are also required. **Responsibilities** + Run and maintain automated screw machines. + Load and unload raw materials. + Set up machines for operation. + Inspect finished products for quality assurance. + Perform routine maintenance including oil and coolant changes. + Sweep, clean, mop, pack, unpack, and move raw materials. + Remove finished products from bins. + Monitor machine operations during operator breaks. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in machine operation and hand tool usage. + Mechanical skills and the ability to perform minor maintenance. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Ability to complete a math and mechanical aptitude test. **Why Work Here?** Join a team where safety is the number one priority. The work environment is structured to support teamwork and safety. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10/hr.
