Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Machine Operator
**Location:** Canaan, CT
**Pay Range:** $18.26
**Shift:** Day shift, 7a-7p, alternating schedule (Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Wednesday/Friday every two weeks)
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
+ Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards.
+ Ensure product quality through in-process checks, documentation review, requalification, and rework when necessary.
+ Assist with product or equipment changeovers, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
+ Keep machinery, work areas, and floors neat and orderly, supporting a safe and efficient work environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED preferred; prior manufacturing experience is advantageous.
+ Must speak and read English fluently, with the ability to read, write, interpret specifications, and perform basic math calculations.
+ Ability to work flexible hours and report punctually to work shifts.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
+ Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
