**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Machine Operator. This role involves operating machinery to create metal seals used in various industries, including aerospace. The work is light duty, repetitive, and conducted in a clean, well-lit environment. Responsibilities + Operate roll formers and polishing lathes to create metal seals. + Load sheet metal bands onto machines and use foot pumps to roll metal into seals. + Inspect parts during manufacturing, ensuring quality and precision. + Polish seals using sandpaper by hand or with a machine. + For larger seals, take measurements and ensure parts meet specified tolerances. + Assist in machine setup and tool adjustments. + Operate semi-automatic TIG welders to weld metal bands. + Inspect welds and perform final part checks using various measurement tools. + Read job travelers and provide approval stamps for completed inspections. + Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel. Essential Skills + Experience in manufacturing or production environments. + Aptitude for mathematics and basic counting skills. + Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. + Strong attention to detail and focus. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. + Comfort with repetitive tasks and a willingness to perform light duty work. + Good ability to read and follow instructions efficiently. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington. Machine Operator **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.25/hr.
