Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

As a machine operator, you will work on the production line in a GMP pharmaceutical environment. Your role involves monitoring machines, filling raw materials, assisting in packaging, and maintaining accurate documentation in English.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate machines on the production line.Assist in filling raw materials and packaging products.Document processes and production data accurately in English.Maintain quality control on the production line.Troubleshoot machine errors and coordinate with technical support if needed.Perform daily maintenance on machines and refill materials as required.Utilize basic math skills for production tasks, such as managing overflow bins.
Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production.Ability to stand and move for 10-hour shifts.Strong documentation skills in English.Experience in machine operation, assembly, and packaging.
Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of pharmaceutical processes and chemistry is an asset.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, secure GMP site with sterile sections and a regulated temperature all year round. The facility includes a large lunchroom, ample bathrooms, and free parking. The environment is quiet with minimal noise and no odors. Shift work is scheduled biweekly, alternating between day and evening shifts from Monday to Thursday. Contractors are required to wear masks, gloves, hair nets, lab coats, and safety glasses. The site is open seven days a week with a mix of production and office spaces.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.20/hr.
