We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a dynamic aerospace metal fabrication environment. This role is ideal for individuals with experience operating band saws and forklifts, who take pride in precision, safety, and quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate band saws to cut steel according to customer specifications.Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials.Accurately read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.Perform visual quality control checks on processed materials.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately.Participate in initial classroom training and ongoing hands-on instruction.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience operating a band saw and working in metal fabrication.Proficiency with sit-down forklift operation.Ability to read a tape measure with precision.Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsSolid work history with consistent attendance and job tenure.Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial setting.Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.Shift Options & Pay2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM 3rd Shift: Friday–Monday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PMPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
