**Job Title: Gluer Operator/Die Cutter** Job Description We are seeking experienced Gluer Operators and Die Cutters to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machines such as die cutters, flexo presses, gluer operators, and offset presses, specifically in the packaging or printing industry. This role involves setting up, changing over, and troubleshooting machines to produce packaging products like beer boxes, cracker boxes, and pet food containers. Responsibilities + Perform machine setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient production. + Operate straight line folder gluer and other plant equipment as necessary for food product packaging. + Utilize die cutting experience to operate relevant machinery. + Work with flexo, roll cutter, gluer, rotary gravure, sheet-fed, and other machines. + Produce a variety of packaging products, including cracker boxes, beer containers, and French fry containers. Essential Skills + Experience in gluer or die cutting operations. + Background in manufacturing or printing/graphic packaging. + Ability to operate die cutters, flexo presses, gluer operators, and offset presses. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience from the packaging industry, preferably from companies such as Kenmore Envelope, Reynolds Metals, JW Fergusson and Sons, Meade West Vaco, Sabert, Graphic Packaging, Novolex, West Rock, or International Paper. + Experience with large format printing on Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer (KBA), Komori machines. + Experience with narrow or large format printing on Uteco, KBA, Tresu machines. + Straight-line gluing experience on KBA or similar gluers. + Sheet-fed or roll-fed experience on Zerand or similar die cutters. Work Environment The work environment can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter, as it is not climate controlled. Currently, due to workload demands, employees work 12-hour shifts, with both day and night shifts available. Candidates are not required to rotate between shifts. Expect to work close to 60+ hours a week, including weekends, with typical shifts running from 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, or alternatively from 7am-7pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sandston, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr. Booming with business and is considered essential. Recently won large contracts.
