Job Title: Cleanroom Operator ($17-19/hr.)

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate and tend to injection mold machines, starting with one and progressing to more as training continues. You will be responsible for visual inspection and packaging of products, operating a sonic welder, and performing small sub-assemblies as needed.

Responsibilities

Tend to 1 to 3 injection mold machines, with initial training on one machine.Change over machines as needed, running 3 to 5 different products weekly.Conduct visual inspections and package products after removal from machines.Perform small sub-assemblies, such as welding smoothie cups or inserting magnets.Trim excess flash from products and heat up resin to meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to follow work instructions and perform visual inspections.Familiarity with machine operation, including button pushing and use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with injection molding is highly desirable for direct placement consideration.

Work Environment

This role is set in a very clean manufacturing environment specializing in plastic injection molding. The facility operates on three shifts, with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Overtime is mandatory when posted, with additional hours required depending on the shift. The workplace is drama-free and not physically demanding, with around 20 people in production on each shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
