Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for executing secondary functions in the fabrication department. This role involves operating a variety of machinery to perform basic tasks such as loading parts, running machines, off-loading parts, and checking quality. While there may be some basic assembly functions, the majority of assembly occurs in the production department.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to perform secondary functions in the fabrication department.Conduct tasks including grinding, polishing, drilling holes, deburring, measuring, and basic assembly.Load materials, run parts, and check quality to ensure standards are met.

Essential Skills

6 months of machine operating experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency in measuring and interpreting blueprints.Experience with general production and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in metal manufacturing is a plus but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.83 - $19.83/hr.
