Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker responsible for loading machined components into CNC machines. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions and utilize basic inspection gauges to assist inspectors. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure proficiency.

Responsibilities

Load machined components into CNC machines.Follow detailed work instructions accurately.Utilize basic inspection gauges to assist inspectors.Maintain high attention to quality and detail.Read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools.

Essential Skills

Experience in general production and manufacturing.Familiarity with inspection processes.Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience running Formax Header.GED or high school diploma is a plus.Ability to perform basic math.

Work Environment

Work at a spacious 130,000 Sq. Ft. manufacturing facility located on 10 acres in Union, Illinois, approximately 50 miles west of Chicago. With around 140 employees, the facility operates three shifts, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility is equipped with over 90 pieces of manufacturing equipment, including Matsuura and Makino Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centers, Saw Cutting, and Wash Systems. Flexible Machining Systems allow efficient on-demand production. The company serves diverse markets such as Hydraulics, Agriculture, Medical, Construction, and more. We are ITAR compliant and certified as an approved Department of Defense Contractor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
