Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** Responsibilities + Set up and run presses efficiently. + Check production schedules for proper job and plate usage. + Maintain job packets including making and marking samples for future runs. + Retrieve, store, and maintain settings, plates, and packets. + Setup and adjust equipment as required. + Make running adjustments to machinery to ensure customer standards are met. + Mix ink to match color samples. + Observe equipment and perform minor repairs as needed. + Wash equipment after operations and preserve plates after printing. + Oil and grease machinery as required. Essential Skills + 3+ years of machine operation experience. + 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience. + Capability to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted. + Experience troubleshooting minor issues on machinery or vehicles. + Comfortable using hand and power tools. + Experience in lithography or flexography is a plus. Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled facility as part of a family-owned business with around 60 employees. You will join the USW - United Steel Workers union after 45 days. The work schedule includes a 4-day workweek with shifts potentially on the first or second shift based on union needs. Saturdays are voluntary with some lines offering triple pay. Steel toe boots are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bryan, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
