2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 4:00 AM – 4:30 PMJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role involves operating band saws and forklifts, performing quality checks, and processing materials according to customer specifications. Training is provided, and candidates with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate band saws to cut steel and other materials per work order specificationsUse sit-down forklifts to transport materials within the facilityRead and interpret tape measures for precise cuttingPerform visual quality control checksApply metal to customer orders and process materials accuratelyMaintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe conditionComplete required data entry accuratelyParticipate in classroom and hands-on training until proficientRequired SkillsExperience operating band saws for steel cuttingProficiency with sit-down forkliftsAbility to read tape measures accuratelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications metal fabrication or aerospace manufacturingReliable attendance and consistent work historyComfortable working in a warehouse and operating machineryWork EnvironmentLarge raw material supplier facilityFast-paced with over 60 employees on the floorMaterials are stored, cut, and shipped to customersClean, safe, and organized workspaceWhy Work HereStable employment in the aerospace sectorCareer growth through the Career Pathways programPerformance reviews and potential raises twice a yearOpportunity to advance from Level 1 to Level 2Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
