Entry-Level Fabrication Machine Operator

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including press brakes, lathes, mills, roll formers, and punch pressesConfigure machines based on production specs and fine-tune settings to ensure optimal performanceInspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications; make necessary adjustments to maintain qualityKeep detailed records of production output and quality checksPerform routine upkeep such as die sharpening, shimming, and basic troubleshootingFollow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environmentMaintain a tidy and organized work area to support efficiency and safetyAssist with tracking material usage and managing inventory levelsWork closely with fellow operators and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow

What You Bring

Familiarity with industrial machinery and fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and part specificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExperience using tools like calipers, tape measures, and crane systemsComfort with steel fabrication, sheet metal handling, and loading large partsBasic understanding of control systems and machining principles

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.00/hr.
