Machine Operator
Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

This role involves producing plastic sheet products using various extrusion machines according to customer specifications. Responsibilities include machine startup and shutdown, quality control inspection, proper packaging, material handling, and training processes. Once machines are set up, they operate continuously for up to two weeks until cleaning or color changes are required. Operators will monitor machines and take measurements every two hours, as well as use a forklift to manage pallets.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor extrusion machines to produce plastic sheet products.Conduct machine startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting.Perform quality control inspections and ensure proper packaging.Handle materials and manage pallets using a forklift.Train others on machine operation processes.Take measurements every two hours and ensure machine operations are smooth.Additional Skills & QualificationsExtrusion experience is ideal.Any plastic manufacturing experience is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work from Monday to Friday during the 1st shift, from 6 AM to 2 PM. Optional overtime is available every other weekend. The facility is very clean, accommodating a team of 32 employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.
