Job Title: Machining Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machining Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.

ResponsibilitiesWork safely under company safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and equipment.Load and unload products into machining fixtures and operations.Protect machines and products by following procedures for part loading, machine control, and safe product transportation.Perform basic operations such as edge breaking and light surface blending using various deburring tools.Use cloud-based tracking system to log time to job orders.Review shop routers to align with machining requirements.Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including the use of a forklift for material handling within the shop and following verbal instructions accurately.Measure materials to ensure compatibility with available stock for machining.Verify machine settings by measuring and upholding quality standards.Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation.Knowledge of general production and heat treatment.Ability to perform general labor tasks.Forklift operation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow safety guidelines and procedures.Proficiency in using deburring tools.Experience with cloud-based tracking systems is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
