Job Title: EDM Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled EDM Operator to join our team. The position offers two shifts: Day Shift (Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and Night Shift (Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, and Friday, 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM).

ResponsibilitiesLoad and set up parts in the EDM machine.Inspect parts for quality during order processing.Set up and operate electro-discharge machines.Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Interpret blueprints and drawings.Troubleshoot and fix machinery defects.Prepare logs and records (travelers) to document machine operations and daily production.Set up and switch jobs as required, with training provided.Maintain a production efficiency of over 98%, emphasizing quality to minimize scrap.Essential SkillsBasic computer skills.Mechanical aptitude.Experience in CNC or other metal machine operations.Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.High School Diploma or GED.Ability to read and write in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsAerospace industry experience.Previous EDM machine experience.Eligibility to work in the U.S., with required documentation.Ability to complete onboarding questionnaires.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Join a production facility equipped with over 150 EDM machines, with temperature control in most production areas. Work involves confined spaces and requires the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently. The noise level may be loud, and the use of personal protective equipment is necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
