**Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Machine Operators who are adept at setting up and operating various machinery, ensuring production efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to safety and quality programs. **Responsibilities** + Setup and change part programs on the machines. + Prepare machines for changing over to different products. + Change tooling and inserts independently as necessary. + Operate and maintain multiple automatic machines if required. + Ensure operation of machines in accordance with standardized working practices. + Follow machine safety operating procedures. + Maintain specified production rates on all machine operations. + Report processed quantities on job routers accurately and completely. + Utilize ERP reporting systems effectively and interpret work instructions. + Understand acceptable and unacceptable quality levels. + Gauge and visually inspect parts as required by standard operating procedures. + Perform operator maintenance, including adding coolant, lubrication, and hydraulic oil as needed. + Report any mechanical problems, broken tooling, or machine repair needs. + Participate in and support all company Quality and Safety Programs. + Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, general labor, machine operating, and packaging. + Proficiency in machine operation, assembly, general production, and understanding blueprints. + Knowledge of CNC, press brake, tape measure, and CNC machine operations. + Mechanical skills related to machine operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with ERP systems and reporting. + Strong ability to interpret work instructions and quality standards. **Work Environment** The work environment consists of a hot, non-climate controlled warehouse. PAY: $17/HR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
