Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: Goose Creek

Pay Range: $22-26/hr (based off experience)

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4PM-230AM Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Machine Operators to join our steel fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of fabrication equipment—including press machines and forming machines—to ensure precision, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, accurate tape measure reading skills, and a positive, coachable attitude in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain press machines, forming machines, and other industrial equipmentSet up and adjust machines based on production specsRead and interpret blueprints and tape measurements to ensure quality fabricationPerform routine maintenance tasks including die sharpening and mechanical troubleshootingConduct quality inspections to ensure conformity with part specificationsFollow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized shop floorAccurately record production and quality metricsAssist in inventory tracking and material handling as neededCollaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain workflow and meet deadlinesSkills & Qualifications:Entry-level to 3+ years’ experience in machine operation or steel fabricationStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityProficiency in reading blueprints, measurements, and fabrication specificationsExperience with press brakes, punch presses, mills, lathes, roll forming, or similar machineryAbility to lift and maneuver large steel parts safelyBasic familiarity with tape measures, calipers, and cranesTeam-oriented mindset and commitment to workplace safety

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.00/hr.
