**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for the basic setup and operation of various machines and tools, including pneumatic tools, to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals. This role offers opportunities to work on different shifts, with the first shift focusing on deburring and button operation, and the second shift requiring more CNC operation experience. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate various machines and hand tools to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals. + Operate pneumatic tools efficiently for metal processing tasks. + Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system. + Read and understand manufacturing orders to ensure precise operations. + Utilize and read various types of measuring equipment accurately. + Operate hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears. + Perform assembly and general production tasks as needed. + Maintain punctuality and reliability in your work schedule. + Willingness to perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operation and general labor. + Proficiency with hand tools and deburring techniques. + Ability to cut metal using saw operation and milling machines. + Experience with CNC mills and using calipers for precise measurements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a machine shop setting is preferred. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment that values punctuality and reliability, and offers opportunities for skill development in machine operation and CNC technology. **Work Environment** The work environment requires the use of safety glasses/goggles meeting the ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirement with permanent side shields. Steel or composite toe shoes that meet the ANSI Z41 standard are also required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
