Job Title: Machine Operator
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fabrication equipment, contributing to high-quality output and smooth workflow across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate various fabrication machines including press brakes, lathes, mills, and punch presses.Setup & Adjustment: Set up machines per production specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications; make corrections as needed.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output and quality checks.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as die sharpening and shimming.Safety: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized.Inventory: Assist with tracking material usage and managing inventory.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely output.Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsFamiliarity with tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometersExperience with steel fabrication, roll forming, and sheet metal workComfortable working with press brakes, punch presses, lathes, and millsCrane operation experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.00/hr.
