**Job Title: Assistant Extrusion Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an Assistant Extrusion Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality plastic films and sheets. You will assist the Extrusion Technician in setting up and maintaining the production line to ensure smooth operation and consistent loading of raw materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with setting up the extrusion line to ensure continuous loading of raw materials.
+ Prepare the line for running designated jobs and set up packaging as required.
+ Follow all process documentation accurately.
+ Unload and pack finished goods from the production line.
+ Climb ladders and handle containers weighing up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs infrequently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude or extrusion experience.
+ Ability to read and write English.
+ Understanding of safety policies in the manufacturing industry.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to utilize basic measuring devices.
+ Extrusion experience is a significant advantage.

**Work Environment**
The facility has recently undergone renovations, including an addition to the building, ensuring a modern and updated workspace. The work involves both day and night shifts, offering flexibility in scheduling. The company is expanding its capabilities by adding new extrusion lines to enhance production.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WALLINGFORD, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
