**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Set up machines for production, both within PLC and with mechanical parameters. Identify and diagnose quality issues, finding the root cause of problems. Make mechanical adjustments to equipment, including conveying systems, to ensure smooth production.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and adjust mechanical printing and forming machines for paper and plastic bags.
+ Troubleshoot quality issues and make necessary changes to equipment.
+ Ensure the finished product meets quality standards.
+ Perform maintenance and press operating tasks.
+ Utilize mechanical aptitude to solve equipment-related challenges.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with mechanical machine operation such as mold press, injection molding, press operating, and CNC.
+ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Track record of being mechanically inclined through interests, hobbies, or previous jobs in maintenance or machine operating.
+ Keen problem-solving mindset.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment producing paper and plastic bags, including forming and printing. Collaborate with a dedicated team to operate each machine. Extensive training is provided due to the learning curve involved in operating the machines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.25 - $25.25/hr.
