Machine Operator
Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description

Operate and maintain machines adhering to production safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot as required and participate in the training of colleagues and temporary workforce. Perform preventative maintenance and communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues.

ResponsibilitiesRun machines and perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting.Train and be capable of running all machines as instructed.Perform all material handling related functions, including loading and removing parts from machines.Communicate promptly with team leaders and mechanics.Move materials up to 30 lbs.Perform repetitive operations following standard methods or direct instructions requiring judgment in detecting and clearing misloaded parts.Be alert to detect and remove defective material and follow SDN work instructions for non-conforming material.Ensure a constant flow of components to run machines.Report unusual conditions or faulty operations to supervision in a timely manner.Fill out all paperwork completely as required.Perform other duties as assigned by team leader or superintendent.Essential SkillsReliability in attendance.Willingness to learn.Ability to work as a team player.Manufacturing experience is ideal.Ability to read and write English.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Basic computer skills.Experience in production, general labor, assembly, packaging, and inspection.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $18.55/hr.
