**Job Title: Entry Level Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a solid understanding of metal materials and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating presses to bend and punch steel using custom dies and will perform quality checks using checking devices and fixtures. Proficiency in reading measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers, as well as reading gauges and other measurement tools to ensure tolerances, is essential. Additionally, the ability to follow work instructions accurately is required. **Responsibilities** + Operate press to bend and punch steel using custom dies. + Perform quality checks on parts using checking devices and fixtures. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Use measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers to ensure precision. + Follow work instructions meticulously. + Read gauges and other measurement tools to ensure tolerances are met. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of experience in machine operating, manufacturing, or machine shop environments. + Proficiency in operating machines such as Bridgeport Mill and Manual Lathe. + Working knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and carbon steel materials. + Experience with surface grinders and tool and die processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience with machine operating and production. + Familiarity with using gauges in manufacturing settings. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing team in a small machine shop environment that has recently expanded its customer base due to acquisition by Caldera Manufacturing.
