Machine Operator
Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery as a 2nd shift machine operator, handling tubs and deburring parts.Perform heat treating operations during the 3rd shift by properly heating and dipping parts into a solution.Operate grinding and straightening machines on the 3rd shift to process parts to the required specifications.Work independently or collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.Utilize basic math skills for calculations involved in machine operations.Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.Essential SkillsManufacturing or industrial work experience of at least 2 years.Experience with machine operations and general production tasks.Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.Ability to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts.Stable work history.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Join a 100+ person company manufacturing sprockets and gears for various industries including material handling and stone quarries. Experience a dynamic job shop environment with non-union facilities. Enjoy 10-hour shifts on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, and 3rd shift from 9pm to 7am, Monday night through Thursday night. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 6-8 weeks, or longer if needed. Employees are required to wear steel toe (metatarsal) shoes, jeans or work pants, long sleeves or t-shirts with sleeve guards, and ear and eye protection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.44/hr.
