**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Forklift Operator, you will work in various departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to efficiently move inventory within the facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
+ Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
+ Verify the quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
+ Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products.
+ Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, notifying management of inventory issues.
+ Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
+ Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
+ Perform inventory control functions as needed.
+ Refer complex, unusual problems to a supervisor.
+ Work under general supervision, exercising some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with RF scanning, picking, packing, forklift, pallet jack, and order picking.
+ Ability to operate warehouse distribution equipment such as cherry picker and reach picker.
+ 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
+ Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
+ Capability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with forklift equipment such as stand-up/reach truck, cherry picker, electric pallet jack is beneficial.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
