**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** Since 1946, a full-service production CNC machine shop has crafted various metal parts for a diverse customer base that includes agriculture, construction, off-road highway trucking, forestry, mining, and other industries around the world. Our parts are used by leading brands in the industry. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC machines and/or Machining Centers to produce a variety of small to large parts with minimal scrap, achieving posed rates, and recording minimum indirect labor hours. + Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production. + Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments. + Inspect parts using different gauges, routing requirements, customer drawing requirements, quality plan dimensions, and SPC chart tracking to ensure quality assurance. + Document completed labor, quality checks, while reporting errors and defects as required. + Identify the need for machine/tool maintenance and perform minor repairs. + Learn machine set-up, utilizing provided documentation to gather and organize equipment needed to perform setups in a minimum amount of time. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC machines, including Mazak and Doosan. + Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Experience with machining and set-ups. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 40 lbs on occasion. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy monthly treats and management cook-outs, gift cards for attendance and low scrap, Thanksgiving dinner, and gifted personal time to leave early or come in late. Employees can make up to four missed hours per week without attendance deduction. **Work Environment** 1st Shift: 6:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. 2nd Shift: 2:00p.m. - 10:00p.m. (15% Premium) 3rd Shift: 10:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. (25% Premium) Plenty of overtime available, but not mandatory (some employees work 50+ hours of overtime). The shop is busy with work orders set through 2025. The shop is well-lit but on the dirtier side.
