Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to join our team at a smaller, close-knit metals facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutter and slitter machines, ensuring products are processed accurately and efficiently. ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate cutter and slitter machines to process metal products.Read and interpret work orders to ensure accuracy.Measure and inspect products to meet quality standards.Perform light troubleshooting and minor machine fixes as needed.Work closely with the warehouse team to move materials and store finished goods.Assist in other departments as needed, including cleaning work areas and organizing shelves.Essential SkillsExperience with slitter and machine operation.Troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and follow work orders and measurements accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly and production processes.Skills in labelling, stacking, and inspection.Proficiency with hand tools and forklift operation.Ability to use a tape measure effectively.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Join a small, clean team with a great attitude and teamwork. The facility has fans to keep it cool but is not climate-controlled. We primarily serve aerospace clients.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
