Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The individual in this role will set up and run press brakes within the fabrication department. The machines are primarily Cincinnati, Amanda, and other metal forming machines such as LVD Strippit turrets. The operator will pull up programs, set the machines up, run short runs of 5-100 pieces, tear down the machines, and set up again throughout the day. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate press brake machines. + Run short production runs of 5-100 pieces. + Tear down and reset machines throughout the day. + Pull up programs and ensure accurate machine setup. + Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. + Use tape measures and other measuring tools for accurate inspection. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of press brake setup experience. + Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. + Strong knowledge of bends and allowances. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with laser operation. + Knowledge of machine operating principles. **Why Work Here?** Employees receive a $300 pair of steel-toed boots after demonstrating the correct workmanship, with the potential for permanent hire. The work schedule is 1st shift: 5:30am-4pm, Monday to Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
