**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join a clean and dynamic plastics facility known for producing high-quality plastics for the automotive and medical industries. You will be part of a team that serves major clients in the automotive sector. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage thermoform machines, ensuring proper loading of plastic sheets. + Monitor machine operations, ensuring the automatic heating and vacuum process meets standards. + Remove formed parts from the thermoform machine and load them into trim fixtures. + Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. + **Primarily will be assisting with deburring, applying stickers, and packing plastic trays.** **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 months of machine operation or assembly experience. + At least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours. **Work Environment** The facility is clean but not climate-controlled, meaning it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will work with 8 thermoform machines, each in its designated area. Shifts are 8 hours long with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. **Job Type & Location** This is a contract position based out of Dexter, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.75/hr.
