Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is seeking multiple machine operators to join their team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating industrial machines and requires a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.

ResponsibilitiesOperate various industrial machines simultaneously, handling up to four machines at a time.Utilize basic hand and power tools to change tooling as needed.Employ quality instruments to ensure parts meet specified quality standards.Perform repetitive manual lifting and pushing of materials throughout the department.Ensure proper documentation of materials, batch numbers, and other relevant data per guidelines.Maintain the ability to withstand heat and remain standing for 8 to 12 hours.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and experience with machine operation.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Familiarity with blueprint reading and assembly.Skill in using calipers and press operating.Experience with laser operation and mechanical assembly.Troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 1 year of machine operating experience.Consistent work history with 1+ year per job.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a very hot but clean work environment depending on the department. The facility spans 1 million square feet. Training is conducted on the 1st shift for approximately 4 months before transitioning to the designated shift. Shift premiums are provided for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
