Job Description
We manufacture adhesive tapes for the automotive industry and are seeking a qualified Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment while monitoring the production process efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and remove cores and mini rolls.Inspect and pack tape rolls.Adjust slitter knives at specified intervals using proper PPE.Clean slitter knives each sharpening cycle with the provided cleaner using proper PPE.Prepare and seal cartons, stacking them on pallets.Follow Work Instructions verified to Product number.Operate hydraulic electric lift pallet jacks.Complete all paperwork and labeling for each box accurately.Maintain accurate quality system documents.Adhere to all policies and procedures related to TS16949.Maintain safe work practices at all times.Ensure housekeeping and organization in the converting area.Demonstrate safe use of sharps.Support 5S activities within the team.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experienceProficiency in slitter and coating machine operationForklift operation skillsPackaging and assembly skillsInspection proficiencyAdditional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing and Production experience is highly sought after.Forward-thinking attitude and willingness to learn new procedures.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is a modern, climate-controlled environment that is extremely neat and organized. It houses two main departments: the Coating Department, where adhesive is applied to tape, and the Slitter Department, where larger rolls are converted into smaller ones. The workspace emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROCK HILL, South Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
